  • Will PerioGold Gel stain my teeth?

No, PerioGold Gel will not stain your teeth with normal recommended use.

If you wear a denture, orthodontic or sleep appliance, then you will need to ensure that you are regularly cleaning these devices after the application of PerioGold Gel. All acrylic and nylon used in these devices are porous and can absorb any fluids within the mouth. The golden colour of PerioGold Gel may penetrate these appliances.

  • How often should I use PerioGold Gel?

PerioGold Gel can be applied 2-3 times a day or as needed to relieve symptoms of gum disease or mouth ulcers. 

  • How should I apply PerioGold Gel? 

Dispense a pea-sized amount of PerioGold Gel to fingertip or soft bristle toothbrush and gently apply to the gums or affected areas of the mouth after brushing or as required. Do not exceed the recommended amount. 

  • What does PerioGold Gel taste like?

PerioGold Gel has been carefully formulated to have a pleasant, slightly sweet taste.


  • Is PerioGold Gel safe to swallow?

Yes. PerioGold Gel contains certified safe ingredients that are included within acceptable, safe consumption levels. Please ensure that you do not have any allergies to any ingredients prior to use and do not exceed the recommended dose.


  • Can I give PerioGold Gel to my children?

Yes. PerioGold Gel is safe for children 6 years of age and older.

  • Is it safe to use your products during pregnancy and breastfeeding

We always recommend consulting a GP/health care professional when pregnant or breastfeeding as everyone and every pregnancy journey is different.


  • How does PerioGold Gel work?

PerioGold Gel contains some very powerful medicinal plant ingredients that all have a range of healing properties. By applying PerioGold Gel to your mouth and gums it will absorb and help to improve the condition of your mouth.
